A summer night in Berkeley. Memories of shows past in this very historic
Greek Theatre. Settled in to our seats down low but not on the floor. John
Doe's Trio got the festivities started with a fine set of chestnuts. See
How We Are. Lucinda Williams followed with a great sounding set closing
with a rollicking Rocking In The Free World. On our feet for a bopping To
Be Alone With You the crowd settled back down into their seats. Great
clear vocals and a reserved but solid band driving the tunes. The samba
tinged Masterpiece was a highlight. My favorite was Under The Red Sky.
Such a Grimm's gem! If you get the chance, don't you dare miss him!

Review by Daniel Dorchak

The curtain has fallen on Dylan's epic two-night stand at The Greek
Theater and I feel very fortunate to have been there for both nights.
I meant to note this last night but will do so now that Bob's entrance
on to the stage was preceded on both nights by his band, who played a
short instrumental before Bob reached the piano. The instrumental jam
was lead by Anton Fig, with the other musicians chiming in one by one.
Last night proceeded similarly to the night before, with To Be Alone
With You taking the opening slot. The early highlight of the show was
an evil sounding Man In The Long Black Coat. This is the second Oh
Mercy song that Bob has brought back for a summer tour (the most recent
other one being Shooting Star from the 2024 Outlaw Tour). Would love to
see more from that record. Other highlights for me include Tryin' To
Get To Heaven, an impassioned Crossing the Rubicon, and a rollicking
version of Nervous Breakdown. Honorable mention to Every Grain Of Sand
which, like so many shows before, brought the run to a close with a
harp solo that I can still hear ringing. Thank you to the staff and
the patrons at the Greek Theater. Truly a venue for all time that I
wish to return to. And of course, thank you to Bob and his band for
another night of magic. See ya next time...
