Review by Rick Pearl

This was one of the most enjoyable set lists I have seen Bob perform - and
I've seen him 20+ times over the past 25 years, including the 8/2 show in
Worcester that opened this tour.

I knew the night would be special when he played "Man in the Long Black
Coat" as the second song. Pulling that underappreciated morsel from "Oh
Mercy" (one of my brother's favorites) was a highlight.

The other was his beautiful version of "Visions of Johanna." This was
especially meaningful for me, as I had never heard him play it in concert
before. It was also the first time that my youngest daughter attended a
concert (she's born 50 days to the day AFTER BD) and this is one of her
favorites.

The four songs from "Love & Theft" were excellent choices and truly
emphasized the great diversity of that CD. The place was really rockin' to
"Summer Days."

Finally, I thought this was as sharp as I've heard the band perform. They
were having a lot of fun - particularly during Bob's band intros - and BD
smiled quite a bit during the interplay.

The only disappointment was the rather small crowd. I estimated that
there were no more than 3/4 of the seats filled in a typically small minor
league hockey arena. But Bob and the boys didn't let that stop them from
delivering a truly wonderful performance.
